Acro-yoga a go go
Up until a year and a half ago, I couldn’t even touch my toes, nevermind fathom the idea of going to yoga classes regularly.
It was then that I decided to accompany my friend Bobi to one of her regular classes taught through a programme for students, alumni, and staff of the London School of Economics.
Long story short: I am hooked. I’m super stretchy and energetic, and the 90-minute classes are great way to relax after a day at work.
We have a nice rotation of teachers, all of whom have different styles. One of my favourites is Jaqui Wan, who practices acro-yoga with us — a combination of Hatha yoga, acrobatics and circus skills, and Thai massage. You can check out her web page here for yourself.
